And I loved the epistolary format. Made me wish letter-writing was still in vogue.

I hope it's okay that I linked to your review on the Book Reviews: WWII page on War Through the Generations.

--Anna
Diary of an EccentricAnnahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08046635675540466183noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8282761092944595871.post-84988586680889865132010-02-20T21:11:15.549-06:002010-02-20T21:11:15.549-06:00Sandy - Yes! There was just something about it that didn't make me want to runout and pick it up. But I think you may have just changed my mind and I love that you mentioned the there is a positive portrayal of gay characters in the novel. I love that!Nicole (Linus's Blanket)https://www.blogger.com/profile/12473607646939202824noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8282761092944595871.post-6640415215118864862010-02-19T21:55:04.156-06:002010-02-19T21:55:04.156-06:00This sounds really good, though I can see that the...This sounds really good, though I can see that the epistolary format could take some getting used to. It did take me about the first disc to get into the swing of the story, but once I did it was very smooth. When I finished I felt flushed and in love. One of the top reads for me last year!Sandy Nawrothttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00564390728106776030noreply@blogger.com
