Books and Cow

I have no real point to this post other than I came upon this image and absolutely adored it. I don't know why, and I'm pretty sure I don't even completely understand what's going on here (assuming there is some sort of deep interpretation possible). Like I said, I just liked it.

And I hope you do too. :)

  2. I love this too! I love cow stuff (after all, The Cow is the giver of ice cream, butter and cheese!), and of course I love books - it's a natural combo for a great picture!

  3. I want to know what's up with the string! (The cow probably does, too.)

  4. It appears the cow is eating the words off the page. Sometimes I feel like that, too. Nom nom nom.

  5. Here's my take, based on the old "grass is greener" aphorism: it depicts the feeling you have when you're reading one book but you really wish you were reading another book instead. Or, not only the feeling, but the actual act of abandoning one book for another that seems more appealing at the moment.

Or maybe it's just a cute picture!

  7. I don't know what it means either (though I like Kathy's take above), but I love it! Where did you find it?

  8. Why does the book in the back have a lock? To keep the other cows in?

  10. Aarti is correct I think, the cow is grazing on words. The best kind of grazing there is. I grew up amongst cows in my youth, they are sweet but dumb. Except this one obviously.
