The Challenges and My Books:

Read Your Doppelganger (1 entry): Find an author who has either the same initials, the same first name, the same last name, or the exact same name as you.

*****Blogroll Roulette (1 entry):  Find a blogroll at either your book blog or a book blog you like that has at least 15 book blogs on it. Use Random.org to select one of the blogs. Read and review a book from that blog. Be sure to link to the blog post you picked the book from!  Number 13 on Nymeth's Blogroll = Andrea's Book Nook = Bram Stoker's Dracula, Andrea's Review


*****100 Best Book (1 entry): Read a book from the lists provided (click image to go to full description). Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep by Philip K. Dick

*****Prize Winner Book (1 entry): Read a book that won one of the following prizes (click image to go to full description). The Complete Maus by Art Spiegelman


*****Title Word Count (1 entry): Use Random.org to select a number between 1 and 5. Read and review a book with that number of words in the title. Word Count = 2  The Flies by Jean-Paul Sartre


*****Genre Switch Up (1 entry): Read and review a book that is part of a genre you have never read before. Religion/Spirituality: Tao Te Ching by Lao Tzu

*****Break a Prejudice (1 entry): Read a book by an author you don't like, in a genre you don't like, or (insert other reading prejudice here).  Then write about the reading prejudice you had BEFORE you read the book and how reading the book either changed your prejudice or reinforced it.  The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society by Mary Ann Shaffer and Annie Barrows

Real and Inspired (2 entries): Read both an original work and a book inspired by that original work. Write about both books in one post.  The Danish Girl by David Ebershoff and Man into Woman by Neils Hoyer OR The Penelopiad, Penelope's Daughter, and The Odyssey


*****Same Word, Different Book (2 entries): Find two books that have the same word in the title. Read both books and write about them. The Egypt Game, The Hunger Games, Ender's Game

*****Become a Character (2 entries): For this challenge, you can read any book you want. However, you have to write about the book as one of the characters from the book.  The 19th Wife by David Ebershoff

All in the Family (2 entries): Find two authors from the same family (either by blood or by marriage) and read a book by each of the authors and then write about both books. A Talent to Annoy by Nancy Mitford and Hons and Rebels by Jessica Mitford,

Author Anthology Pick (2 entries): Read at least 5 entries in an anthology. Pick your favorite and then find a book by that writer and read it.Write about the anthology, your favorite pick from the anthology, and the book you read by your favorite pick.
