If you have any advice on which series I should focus on first - especially if all the books in the series are published - please let me know!

  1. Don't even get me started on my mystery thriller series. I'm in at least a dozen. I know it gets a bad rap, but Larson's books are very good. Especially on audio.

  2. I have read all the Thursday Next books except the last one, which came out last year. I do have a few series books that I need to continue on with, but for some reason, I just never seem to pick up very many books that are part of a series. I do plan on reading the Chaos Walking series this year though, and as many point out to me, I think I am in for a treat!

Good Luck in finishing some of these!

  3. Unwritten is not all published, but it easily the best graphic novel series I've ever read, and one of my favourite books, period. It plays with storytelling and has lots of literary references and has gorgeous artwork and is specifically designed for book nerds. I highly recommend it.

  4. I'm so terrible that I don't really keep up with series. I did with HP and Twilight but there are a few others that I've read a book or two of but just haven't felt it necessary to read them all together. The Thursday Next books come to mind. I've been collecting them but don't feel a pressing desire to find out what happens next. It makes sense in my head...

  5. I'm only 2 down in that Jasper Fforde series too. He's one of those only-if-I'm-in-the-mood authors.

Persepolis 2 won't take you any time to read at all. Unfortunately, it's also not nearly as good as the first one.

  6. Drop everything else and read Jasper Fforde. And then read his Nursery Crimes series. They're amazing!

  7. I did a Thursday Next series re-read last year and read the last book for the first time. This year I'll be doing the Wicked series as I've only read two of the books so far. After that I need to keep going in the Maisie Dobbs series and a few others. Maybe I should actually write them down!

  8. I didn't realize the Millennium trilogy was in graphic novel form. Hmmm. I still need to finish second and third books for my readalong with A. I wonder if reading the graphic novels instead counts. Or would that be cheating?
