If you have any advice on which series I should power through first - especially if all the books are out already - be sure to let me know!!!

  1. Seriously. Don't you just roll your eyes when you see another series come out? It is kinda getting on my nerves. I did read the Susan Beth Pfeffer series about the asteroid hitting the moon and creating havoc on earth. Is that the one you have up there? My daughter and I enjoyed that one. Other than that I can't help you. I'm sitting here feeling overwhelmed!

  2. Man, that's a lot of series books that you need to tackle! I have been sort of reluctant to get into series books for that very reason, but there is some stuff that I just can't really ignore any longer. I like your list, and have written down a few that I might like to start. Good Luck with this!

  3. Whoa. I like series reads but it can be aggravating when you have to wait a year for the next installment. I'd almost rather wait and read the entire series after all the books are complete...but with longer ones, that's obviously impossible. Good Luck :)

  4. Wow. Just wow. :) That is a LOT of series!

My suggestion is to start by reading the series that are already complete. Maybe pick one per month to finish? That'll take off a huge part of your list-especially since you only need to read 1 or 2 books to finish many of them!

    good luck!

  5. Wow, I think if I made a list like this I'd cry. I love\hate all the series I'm in the middle of or need to get started on. It's all so overwhelming!

  6. Ahh, so many series!! I love me a good series, but the fact that practically everything in YA is a series nowadays gets very annoying.

Behemoth was a great end to the Leviathan trilogy, so you should definitely check out that one.

I really do like the Iron Fey books. They're not my favourites, but I do really like them, and I haven't really read any other faerie books I've enjoyed.

The Maze Runner!! Loveeee these books. I still need to read the third one, but the first two were great.

Oh, Divergent! Totally one of my favourite books this year. <3

  7. Bumped is a good one, all about babies/pregnancies! :D And of course I always recommend Westerfeld. Goliath was the best of that trilogy.

I have no idea how many series I've started. If I don't remember them, I have no desire to go on to the next book, haha!

  8. Have mercy, that's a lot of books!

I agree with @Sandy, it seems like every time I pick up a YA book, I get to the end and it's a damn series; I practically have to wander into the biography section before I can find a standalone book.

And then you have to keep track of what you've read while you wait a year (or more) for the next one to come out. You've done a great job of that, though. Now it's just a matter of actually reading them. o.O

    Good luck! :D

  9. Girl we are in similar boats! I think we're so close we might even crash. *chuckle* And I haven't even had a glass of wine tonite. :)

I'm gonna have to do this sometime this month just to get organized. I know it's my downfall, but I love me some YA series. (Just like I love me some YA tele series - TVD? Yup. Pretty Little Liars? Yup!)

  10. The Incarceron "series" is actually only two books and the second is, in my opinion, the better book. Just read the two as one and you'll have a good time! There. I've cleared one off your list. ;)

  11. Wow! I don't know how you actually manage to keep track of the series you are in the middle of. I need to read the last book from the Wicked Lovely series. I also need to finish the Prophecy of the Sisters. And Blue Bloods. I couldn't even tell you what I have on my shelves that I have yet to start.

  12. Woah... that is an insane number of challenges! lol. Some of them I loved (Stork, for example), some I HATED (Nightshade, Hush, Hush, for example). Looking forward to your thoughts on many of these. I especially recommend Stork though :D
