Reminds me of a pair of signs that have been driving me nuts for the past month. The local pumpkin farm has a scarecrow eating a pumpkin, sitting next to a pumpkin eating a scarecrow, and they BOTH have the SAME "man eating pumpkin" sign.
I keep threatening to bring a roll of black electrical tape to insert the hyphen for them, but haven't managed to remember yet.
And grandpa appreciates it!

Giggling - I read it the way it meant to be read with #2 but what a great way to teach, fun.
ReplyDeleteI just love this. Need to put it into my grammar materials in my online classes. :D
