My New Bike

The Trek Hybrid 7000 is the lowest in its line but still costs more than a newbie biker like me should have spent, especially since it looks like the rain is never ever ever going to go away and all this bike will do is decorate my garage. But isn't it awesome!

Seriously though, I can not wait to get out on the road with this bike.

  1. Yay, Trisha! Very nice! So, have you been out on it? So here a few basics you might want to get if you haven't already done so: biking gloves (the grips kill your hands), padded biking shorts, a water bottle bracket (and water bottle), helmet (for sure), mirror, bike pump, biking glasses. Those are all things that I can't live without when biking. Be sure to write about your adventures!

  2. OMG! I just looked closer at the picture! Was that bike up near the front window of the shop? I was in there on Monday and saw it and was thinking how that bike would be so you! I love the design on the frame!!

  3. I have the water bottle and bracket, but the rest not so much. I'm really excited to get in an actual ride, so far I've only been around a few blocks. When will the rain cease and desist? I feel under attack by the storm gods.

  5. Oh, mine is boring...it is just plain red, and it a men's bike with the bar across the top of the frame. I will post a pic on my blog. My dream bike is pink!
